Our story

DealKeep was born from a frustration every lifetime-deal buyer knows: buying great software at a great price, then forgetting you own it. Missed refund windows, duplicate purchases, monthly subscriptions you kept paying for a tool you already owned for life — the "lifetime savings" quietly turned into lifetime clutter.

What problem does DealKeep solve for lifetime deal buyers?

DealKeep solves the problem that a lifetime deal has no monthly invoice to remind you it exists. A subscription announces itself every month with a charge; a one-time purchase goes silent the moment it completes. The result is money lost three ways — a refund window that closed before you decided, a second tool bought for a job you already owned, and a product that quietly stopped shipping without anyone telling you. DealKeep is the record that keeps those three from happening.

Meet the founder

Dominique Abbey, Founder of DealKeep, is a long-time lifetime-deal buyer who got tired of losing money to the three mistakes every AppSumo regular knows: forgetting what you own, missing refund windows, and re-buying tools you already had. After years of wrangling LTD purchases across AppSumo, StackSocial and a dozen other marketplaces in messy spreadsheets, Dominique built DealKeep as the system that should have existed all along.

Dominique founded DealKeep in 2025 in Dallas, Texas, and is the author of every guide on this site. Two of the site's reference works are maintained under that name: the LTD Mortality Report, DealKeep's research into how lifetime deals fail, and the Lifetime Deal Graveyard dataset of community-verified failures behind it. DealKeep's one-click AppSumo import ships as a Chrome extension published under the company's developer account.
